HTC One: Verizon Release Date Delayed Until August 15
Verizon customers will be upset to hear the recent reports about the delayed release date of the HTC One smartphone. A leaked document that Web site Droid-Life posted shows that the HTC One arrival at Verizon will be on August 15 instead of the initial reported release date of August 1.

Verizon did not give any comment to confirm or deny the new release date but the U.S. telecommunications company maintains their previous statement that the HTC One will be available to the customers this summer season. Motorola's announcement on the August 1 unveiling of the Moto X smartphone is believed to be the reason behind the HTC smartphone's launch date to be pushed back.
Perfect timing appears to be Verizon's strategy in releasing the HTC One since the Moto X and LG G2 as well as the new Apple iPhones may have been announced by then. Aside from the Moto X and HTC One smartphones, Verizon recently announced as well the availability of the three DROID-branded handsets such as the Ultra, Maxx and Mini.
The trio DROID devices are currently available for pre-order but the shipping is scheduled to begin on August 20. The DROID pricing scheme is set at $99 for the Mini, $199 for Ultra and $299 for Max.
Other reports claim that the HTC One release date at Verizon could happen as well close to the expected Apple iPhone 5S unveiling this coming September. It will definitely become a tough competition between the Apple iPhone and the HTC device in the market sales.

The HTC One is currently the Taiwanese company's flagship device even with the Mini version recently unveiled as the smaller and scaled-down brother. The HTC One features a 4.7-inch screen with 1920x1080p display resolution, 1.7GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage capacity, Android Jelly Bean operating system, HTC Sense 5 UI and 2300mAh non-removable Li-on battery.
