Mobicity says the Huawei Ascend P6 is available now and it promises "fast delivery." Gizmodo reported that JB Hi-Fi or Dick Smith will offer the WiFi only variant beginning July 16. If you're in doubt, hit the stores for a good look-and-feel of this new smartphone.
The Huawei Ascend P6 price tag is competitive, and encourages those on the fence to give it a try. The WiFi only variant 3G-ready phone costs $499.
The Huawei Ascend P6 comes with cool specs worthy of the phone shopper's attention. Its 4.7-inch screen display wows at 1280 x 720p resolution. It is only 6.18mm slim, making it the slimmest smartphone in the market. The Chinese phonemaker Huawei is also serious on the operations area.
This new smarphone is creating some buzz among reviewers. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, powered by a quad-core processor on K3V2E chipset with 2GB of RAM, clocking at 1.5 GHz. Its display also boasts of MagicTouch, which responds to users wearing gloves.
The 8MP camera of Huawei Ascend P6 knows some magic, too. It features the prized F2.0 aperture for lovely portraits with blurred background. It also features 4cm macro view, auto scene recognition, object-tracing focus and instant facial beauty support - for selfies on Facebook and other social network sites.
The on-board storage is pretty low at 8GB, but it allows storage expansion with a microSD card for up to 32GB. It also features a battery saving technology, allowing users to enjoy 30 per cent longer battery life.
