The Huawei-owned Honor brand is likely to announce its Honor 5X at the international Consumer Electronic Show (CES) event in the US this coming January.

Rumours are circulating that Honor plans to expand its business in the United States. Honor recently sent out invites but did not mention anything about the launch. However, the company's reportedly planning to introduce the Honor 5X at the CES event.

The United States is the highest end market for Huawei and so the company is trying to expand its Honor business across the country. As part of its expansion plan, Honor will inaugurate the Honor 5X to its US consumers very soon. George Zhao, president of Honor Global, confirmed the news by saying that Honor will announce more about its US plans during the CES event, states 9to5Google.
