Huawei Mate 8 comes to market on Nov. 26
Will be available through China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom.
The Huawei Mate 8 recently made it to China’s 3C Quality Certification website, suggesting an official release on Nov. 26. Specs haven’t been revealed yet, but rumours indicate the upcoming phablet will sport a fast-charging big battery.
Three versions of Huawei Mate 8 will be available through China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom. Seemingly, all three versions will ensure fast charging at 5V 2A and 9V 2A with a big battery that’s expected to be 4,000 mAH, reported Tech Times.
According to speculation, the Huawei Mate 8 will feature a 6-inch display enhanced with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080. This next-generation mobile will be powered by Huawei’s own built Kirin 950 octa-core processor set at 2.2 GHZ.
It comes with a 16 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. Android lovers will be happy to use Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS that offers immense scope for operations. Leaked images suggest the handset will sport a metal casing and won’t be aluminium, states Realty Today.
Among its other high-end features, the phone has a fingerprint scanner and a face sensor for its rear camera. It’s fingerprint scanner suggests added security so that no one can breach a user’s privacy by logging into his personal details on social networking sites and other online places.
Customers will have to splurge US$500 (AU$699) for the 32 GB version and an extra US$100 (AU$139) for the 64 GB iteration of Mate 8. To learn about exact price, specs and availability, however, fans will have to wait till Nov. 26.
The Huawei Ascend Mate 7 was a huge success, and Huawei promises to live-up to expectations with the Huawei Mate 8. Canalys analyst Jessie Ding commented that Huawei succeeded with Ascend despite cut-throat competition and the Mate 8 will be another step forward.
