Huawei P10 and P10 Plus Australia release date, prices, specs and comparison: Revolutionising and redefining portrait photography
Huawei Australia has recently announced that its new P10 handset will be available Down Under from May 25 from Virgin Mobile, Optus and Vodafone for $899. Its big brother P10 Plus will also be available from select retailers from the same date for $1,099.

Thanks to the evolution of our partnership with Leica Camera, users now have an incredible Leica front camera on their Huawei device in addition to the rear. To match this innovation inside, Huawei’s partnership with Pantone Colour Institute ensures that the devices are equally as beautiful on the outside. The Huawei P10 and P10 Plus are smartphones that are as fashionable as they are functional,” said Richard Yu, CEO of the Huawei Consumer Business Group.
While P10 weighs 145 grams, the Plus version weighs 165 grams. The Huawei P10 will be made available in various colour options such as Graphite Black, Prestige Gold and Dazzling Blue. The Plus version will be made available only in Graphite Black colour option. The P10 smartphone will come with a 5.1-inch FHD Display with 2.5D glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It will run on AndroidTM 7.0 with EMUI 5.1 on top. It will be powered by a Kirin 960 (64-bit) octa-core processor and Mali G71 MP8 GPU.
The internal storage memory is 64GB and RAM power is 4GB. IT supports NFC and comes with a 3,200 mAh battery with Huawei SuperCharge. The front camera is of 8MP with f/1.9. Its rear camera is a Leica Dual-Camera 2.0 with 20MP monochrome sensor and 12MP RGB. It has SUMMARIT-H F/2.2 and optical image stabilisation (OIS). The Huawei P10 Plus smartphone has a 5.5-inch WQHD display with 2.5D glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by the same Kirin 960 (64-bit) octa-core processor and Mali G71 MP8 GPU.
The P10 Plus runs on AndroidTM 7.0 OS with EMUI 5.1 on top. Internal storage capacity is of 128GB and RAM is of 6GB. The smartphone supports NFC. It has a 3750 mAh battery with Huawei SuperCharge. The P10 Plus is a dual-SIM phone, unlike the P10. It also has the same front camera as that of P10. However, the rear camera is Leica Dual-Camera 2.0 Pro Edition with a 20MP monochrome sensor and 12MP RGB sensor. Two noteworthy features are OIS and SUMMILUX-H f/1.8. JB Hifi, Harvey Norman and a few others will sell the handset.
