Huawei has again breaks world record in the mobile market by introducing its newest flagship, the 7-inch Huawei MediaPad X1, claiming as the "world's lightest and narrowest tablet" ever made.

The Chinese manufacturer surprised many mobile device enthusiasts with the newest product launch. In the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014, Huawei unveiled a range of new 4G-LTE capable devices, including the slim and sleek Huawei MediaPad X1 7.0 phablet, its first wearable device called Huawei TalkBand B1 (a companion of the MediaPad X1), new 4G smartphone, Huawei Ascend G6, and the first LTE WiFi device - the Huawei E5786. The E5786 supports LTE Cat 6 connectivity featuring a downstream rate of up to 300 Mbit/s, according to the Huawei Web site.

Huawei MediaPad X1 highlights the following features: 1200 x 1920 resolution with 323 PPI full lamination screen, LTPS screen that reduces battery consumption, but not sacrificing the screen capacity. The camera is also impressive with 13MP on the rear and 5MP in front. The MediaPad X1 comes with a 5000 mAh battery, and an option to run with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean or Huawei's Emotion UI 2.0.

Huawei B1 is touted to be a "talk and track" device. "Talk" because the user can make and answer call through Bluetooth integration, and "Track" since it also works as a fitness tracker. CNET notes the device's ability to track both the user's sleep and health. Huawei TalkBand B1 is water- and dust-resistant, giving the user an option to wear the device even on the shower.

Huawei Chief Executive Richard Yu introduced both the devices, the Huawei MediaPad X1 and the TalkBand B1-on WMC 2014. Both of devices make sense to be used in pair since it may be an effort to talk using the 7-inch phablet.

Huawei once claimed the "world's thinnest Smartphone" for Huawei Ascend P1S back in 2012 and the "world's fastest" for the Huawei Ascend P2 in 2013. But there are plenty of devices to surface recently, snatching those titles and even leaving them behind the more popular brands like Samsung and Apple. Huawei continues to prove that they are alive, well and can compete with the other Smartphone giants.
