It's officially a wrap for the 100th episode of "The Vampire Diaries" and the cast members attend the elegant celebration held on Saturday, November 9, in Atlanta, Georgia. Ex-couple Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev were spotted putting on an amicable interaction during the party.

A photograph shows a gorgeous Nina Dobrev close to Ian Somerhalder who looked dapper in his dark suit while smiling at the cameras. Ms Dobrev looked stunning in her colorful mini dress and high heels.

"Officially wrapped our 100th Episode yesterday!!!!!!" the 24-year-old actress posted on her Twitter account @ninadobrev on Saturday. Ian Somerhalder, on the other hand, tweeted the 100th episode accomplishment to his fans on Friday, November 8.

The message on his Twitter account @iansomerhalder reads: "Just wrapped the 100th EPISODE of The Vampire Diaries!!! Whoa... WTF?Thank you,you are such an amazing force of nature-not just an audience."

The other TVD cast members present in the celebration include Paul Wesley, Kat Graham, Candice Accola, Zach Roerig and Matthew Davis. "The Originals" stars Daniella Pineda, Phoebe Tonkin, Charles Michael Davis and Daniel Gillies also attended the celebration to show support.

Nina and Ian's off-screen romance did not work out but "Vampire Diaries" executive producer Caroline Dries teased that it will not affect their on-screen romance as the viewers see them happy and in-love. "We kind of want to go against the grain, and make them a happy couple without bickering and fighting every episode but actually make their relationship suffer from real life issues that come up in normal people relationships and make it less about mythological conflicts," Ms Dries revealed to Celebuzz.com.

Additionally, Nina and Ian's on-screen chemistry has earned them a nomination at the 2014 People's Choice Awards with the category called "Favorite On-Screen Chemistry." The successful CW TV series is also up for the "Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show" award.

The PCA nominations for "The Vampire Diaries" continue with Ian Somerhalder nominated as a "Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actor" against Andrew Lincoln of "The Walking Dead," Jared Padelecki and Jensen Ackles of "Supernatural" and Stephen Amell of "Arrow" while Nina Dobrev is up for the "Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actress" award against Emilia Clarke of "Game of Thrones," Ginnifer Goodwin, Kristin Kreuk and Tatiana Maslany.

Heartthrob actor Ian Somerhalder expressed on social networking site Twitter his gratitude upon receiving the news about the TVD nominations. The actor's message to his millions of followers read: "#PeoplesChoice holy cow!Thank you so so so much everyone!!! You are MY people- I fricking love you."
