Pink on Twitter: Critics Slammed Her Parenting Style, Singer Defends Daughter Willow's Motorbike Ride with Dad Carey Hart
Couple Pink and Carey Hart agreed to take their 2-year-old daughter Willow for a fun motorbike ride but they got criticised in return for their parenting style. The "Just Give Me a Reason" singer posted a number of messages on her Twitter account defending her family from the negative feedbacks claiming that Willow is still too young to ride a motorbike.
"If any of u have more experience on a bike than my husband, then I will listen to your opinions on how he should take my daughter for a ride," Pink wrote on her Twitter account @Pink. The 34-year-old mum further tweeted: "I can't promise I will care, but I will listen none the less."
Pink's motocross champion husband, Carey Hart, shared an image of the bonding time with her daughter at Instagram that shows the little girl having fun with the motorbike ride with him. "Been waiting for this day for a very long time. Willz went for her 1st ride on my motorcycle around the pits today. She was pumped the whole time. When we stopped, she gave me a big hug and said it was fun, thank you Papa. That's my girl," the motocross-star wrote as a caption to the image.
Pink sounds confident that nothing bad will happen to her child since her husband is a professional and knows what to do to keep little Willow safe around the pits. The image in question shows Willow sitting on her dad's lap on the left frame while the other side shows the little girl hugging her dad.
Pink responded to a couple of tweets questioning the safety of her daughter. A message from @MFemur read: "Honestly.. I wouldn't like the idea of a child so young being on a bike" to which Pink responded, "Then I don't recommend it for your child."
Another tweet from @AshleyESweeney slammed the singer telling "bikes are no joke" and even gave an advice that Pink should wait for Willow to reach the age of 16 and let her daughter make a decision for herself. "Yeah ok. I've never met you but that's great," Pink replied.
After responding to the backlash tweets, Pink put an end to the disagreement. "M'Kay I'm gonna go now. Gotta figure out what wills is wearing tomorrow for her MANIACAL MOTO MANIA!!!!!! Gotta pack veggies too! Organic!," the singer tweeted.
