Ian Somerhalder on Twitter: Vampire Diaries Actor Agrees Co-star Paul Wesley is Better Than Him
A fan has bluntly posted on Twitter that "Vampire Diaries" actor Paul Wesley is better than his co-star, Ian Somerhalder. What was Somerhalder's reaction to that? Well, the 34-year-old heartthrob actor agreed.
"@iansomerhalder Paul is better than you," Twitter user @illumisally wrote and to which Ian responded with "I'm sure he is;)." Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley have formed a really close friendship off screen, as they worked together in the successful CW TV series portraying the Salvatore vampire brothers Damon and Stefan.
Ian and Paul's closeness even created a bromance stir after an image of them jokingly holding hands surfaced earlier this year on the social networking site Twitter, according to a Entertainmentwise report. "Paulwesley it's official-they've caught us.Time to tell your wife," Ian previously teased on his Twitter account @iansomerhalder.
Recently, Paul Wesley called Ian Somerhalder his girlfriend after "New Girl" actor Max Greenfield shared an image on Twitter of the two "Vampire Diaries" stars. "This must be some sort of misunderstanding. This is actually a photo of me and my girlfriend Ian Somerhalder," the 31-year-old actor posted on his Twitter account @paulwesley.
Aside from admitting that his co-star and friend, Paul Wesley, is better than him, Ian Somerhalder also admitted in a WetPaint report that his love for furry creatures makes him a hoarder. "I hate furry things. I hate them. They're loud. They're obnoxious. They eat too much. They poop everywhere," Ian initially joked to the WCCB station during a visit to the "TVD" Atlanta set.
"No, they're amazing. Yeah, I rescued a dog. I found her two blocks from here. She'd already been hit and rolled by cars and fences. She was in bad shape. And so sweet and beautiful... I have six dogs in my living room and two cats. I think I'm officially a hoarder," the actor further stated in a more serious note.
Ian Somerhalder currently looks after the dogs in his home. After all, the actor is known for his advocacy when it comes to animals and finding ways on taming worldwide pet overpopulation so dogs and cats will not be abandoned. In the mean time, fans can catch Ian Somerhalder in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 as Damon Salvatore which airs Thursday nights at 8 pm on the CW Network.
