Ian Somerhalder on Twitter: 'Vampire Diaries' Actor Wants to Marry an Avid Ocean Conservationist?

Heartthrob actor Ian Somerhalder has implied on social networking site Twitter about his admiration for someone. Who is the lucky girl? Her name is Ocean Ramsey, an ocean conservationist, and the "Vampire Diaries" star even inquired if she is already married.

On Monday, April 14, the 35-year-old actor posted on Twitter account @iansomerhalder his admiration with the blonde beauty. Ian Somerhalder has included as well the link to the RYOT report introducing Ocean Ramsey.

According to the RYOT.org report, the avid ocean conservationist swims with the sharks to raise awareness and change the public's approach to the sea creatures. The report further noted that Ocean Ramsey is not only a shark conservationist but a model, scuba diver and free diver as well who grew up with surfing and diving in Hawaii and San Diego.

The Wet Paint report revealed that Ocean Ramsey finds swimming with the Great Whites a thrilling and inspiring experience for her because her interaction with them boosts the advocacy to shark conservation. Ms Ramsey explained that many people are scared of sharks because the sea creatures were depicted as mindless and man-eating on television and films.

"In truth, sharks are intelligent, calculated, and generally very cautious about approaching humans. More importantly, sharks play a vital role in maintaining a healthy ocean ecosystem and are being overfished to the point of extinction," Ms Ramsey shared in her Web site oceanramsey.com. Some Ian Somerhalder fans agree with the TVD star for showing admiration with Ocean Ramsey since Ian is also known for his advocacy with environmental and animal rights issues through the Ian Somerhalder Foundation (ISF).

However, the hearts of other female fans can be heard breaking after Ian expressed interest with Ocean Ramsey. The fans even posted their comments on Ian's tweet asking the TVD actor that he should marry them instead of Ocean.
