‘I’d love to be an elephant!’: Robert Pattinson tells Jay Leno of his elephant experiences
Robert Pattinson talks about his experiences with Tai, the elephant: one of his screen partners on latest movie, “Water For Elephants”
British hunk, Robert Pattinson shared his experiences with elephants while filming his latest film, 'Water For Elephants' and expressed his fondness of the big creature to the delight of the studio audience on "The Jay Leno Show".
The actor revealed during his guest appearance on the NBC show how he climbed into the elephant’s mouth as an indication how comfortable he is around the enormous creature, said the Daily Mail.
“The first time I met Tai the elephant, I just got in her mouth. It just seemed like a good place to be!,” Pattinson was quoted telling Jay Leno by the Daily Mail.
The 'Twilight' heartthrob then described his joy first joyride with his other on-screen partner, Tai, the elephant.
He said, “She had these hug lips and her teeth were all the way at the back so she just carried me around.”
The Daily Mail observed that the studio audience showed no sign of dismay over the British actor, saying the Kristen Stewart’s real-life beau has even won the hearts of his audience as he was sharing his ‘comedy tales’ while filming his latest movie, using what Daily Mail.co.uk described as ‘boyish Brit charm’.
Pattinson’s love for Tai the elephant was attested by “Water For Elephants” animal coordinator, Paul ‘Sled’ Reynolds in a separate report by IBTimes. Click here what Reynolds said of Pattinson when the actor first met the elephant.
In the film, the actor is joined by 35-year-old Reese Witherspoon, playing Pattinson’s love interest. R-Patz said that Reese has her own stories to tell about their moments with Tai, the elephant.
“Reese ended up under the elephant who then went back on its hind legs and let out the most incredible fart directly in Reese’s face for a good 45 seconds,” Pattinson told with excitement, the story of Reese’s moment with Tai, the elephant as the actress was trying to learn a few circus tricks.
The actor was all praises for his co-star.
“But it shows Reese’s complete commitment to do the job because she just stood there and took it. And the elephant’s got a big a**e!,” Pattinson was quoted telling Jay Leno during his guest appearance.
Pattinson is promoting his latest film who he will be appearing in without his real-life girlfriend, Kristen Stewart.
