Iggy Azalea And Britney Spears Bring Back The 80s In "Pretty Girls" Video Shoot
Iggy Azalea and Britney Spears bring back the 80’s in their collaboration for their newest music video “Pretty Girls.” The duo was spotted shooting scenes for the video in Studio City, California on Thursday, sporting skin-showing midriff and denim outfits.
Spears, 33, was seen behind the wheel wearing a leopard print cropped top partnered with ripped jeans. She accessorized with matching sunnies, pink and yellow triangular earrings and added a touch of baby pink lipstick. Alongside her was the Aussie rapper, who opted for a double denim look, topping her stomach-exposing pink top with a vest and flaunting her legs with tight shorts. The two were also seen getting steamy and playful with each other as they posed on the back of a red convertible.
Spears later posted on her Instagram a photo of her driving the jeep, captioned with what seems to be some lyrics to her new song. "Girls roll [up], windows roll [down], [eyes] on us, jaws on the ground," the caption read, with matching emojis. Meanwhile, Azalea posted a selfie showing off her pretty face and crimped hair, which channeled more of the 80s vibe.
While the two stars remain mum on other specific details for their video, it is speculated that “Pretty Girls” will be released sometime on the first week of May. Azalea, who co-directed the clip, revealed on an interview with a radio station that she will be on the first track of Spears’ ninth studio album, Entertainment Tonight reported.
In an interview with Extra last month, Spears dished on why she wanted to record her new single with the 24-year-old rapper. The mother of two revealed that she was like a “kid in a candy” store after hearing Azalea’s performance of hit song “Fancy” on TV. Spears gushed that the rapper’s manager told her that Azalea was actually a big fan of hers. “I was like, 'Let's do something together,'” she said, as quoted by Us Magazine. “So it worked out.” Azalea also seems to be working more on collaborations nowadays, having previously sang with Charlie XCX for “Fancy” and Jeniffer Hudson for “Trouble.”
