Most of the smarpthone companies are manufacturing Android phones in various price points. However, if the OS is behaving sluggishly on the device, its usability will be affected. BGR has revealed a simple and easy way for boosting the performance of an Android device without installing any third party app.
When a new Android smarpthone or tablet is purchased, it functions smoothly. However, after installing plenty of apps and adding various kinds of files on the storage of the device, it may function very slowly. Also, it may freeze or crash more frequently.
Whether a user owns a high-end Android device like the Galaxy S6 or low-end device like Moto E, after using them for some time, the performance is hampered. The trick that has been revealed by BGR does not require technical expertise and readers will be surprised to know how quickly it can speed up the device. It does not involve users to go through ‘rooting’ or any other complicated procedure.
First of all, users are required to go Settings and then access “About Phone” and then on the “Build Number”, users are required to tap seven times. This will facilitate users to access “Developer Options” menu. Next, users are required to again access Settings menu by hitting back and access Developer Options.
Inside Developer Options, users will now be able to see three settings. (Note: the three settings may show up under “Advanced.” Here they are:
Window animation scale
Transition animation scale
Animator animation scale
The default setting for each of three aforementioned options will be “1x”. In order to dramatically increase the speed of the Android smartphone or tablet, users are required to change it to “.5x”. Modifying these settings will not harm the device. The trick will assist in speeding up the transition animations. As a result, the device will function faster.
