iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak is not supported by the Evad3rs of the Evasi0n team of developers. This is the essence of the group's earlier announcements even before the latest iOS update was released to iPhone and iPad users. The jailbreakers also said post-release that they will wait for the next major iOS iteration. If you're an Apple device user who missed the Evad3rs' memo, how can you break free this time?

"We'll probably wait until the next major release," David Wang, one of the hacking developers who coded the evasi0n tool, has earlier told Forbes.

Evad3rs made history in February after freeing several millions of iPhone, iPad and iPod users within days after releasing their Evasi0n jailbreak tool. Not long after iOS 6.1.2 was released, the jailbreaking group has already found some exploits and released a jailbreak guide via Twitter. Naturally, many Apple users just expected the group would also have something by the time iOS 6.1.3 is released. However, this is not the case. And the Evad3rs themselves gave an early warning.

Absinthejailbreak.com has published a guide for users who want to downgrade one step from iOS 6.1.3. The compatible devices for this process are only the iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS. Users are hereby warned to skip the process unless you know you are tech-savvy enough to work through the downgrading steps.

"We are not working on a 6.1.3 jailbreak that would be too much efforts (sic) for a minimal update. We're waiting for a major release," Pod2g shouted out on Twitter recently. Apparently, many iOS users are clamoring for an Evasi0n tool after missing the previous announcements on no-jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3.

Evasi0n developers have found at least one bug on iOS 6.1.3 that they can exploit to come up with a jailbreaking tool. However, iOS 7 is expected to arrive soon, so whatever update they come up with will soon be pointless.

An estimated 18 million iPhone, iPad and iPod owners have used the Evasi0n tool to jailbreak their iOS gadgets in the past.
