iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak is not going to be available, at least not so soon. iPhone 5 and other iDevice users have been advised by evasi0n developer David Wang that evad3rs will be working "from scratch" to develop the jailbreak that will free early adopters of the upcoming iOS update.

Android geeks recently reported Apple has just released iOS 6.1.3 beta 2. This update will fix a recently found passcode bug which could put user privacy at risk. However, it also patches the bug that was used to develop earlier jailbreak methods. This latest update supports iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

iOS 6.1.3 is reportedly showing signs that it will be more difficult to jailbreak. It goes to show that Apple is determined to keep its users from using their iOS gadgets off the way the firm had planned. But jailbreakers see a lot of potential being unleashed with their jailbroken iPhones and iPad devices.

"What the hell is wrong with apple!? First they never let third party apps to make changes to the phone as a whole, then they don't even give users the options to do it, and now that somebody is actually trying to make it a better experience, they wanna turn that down too!? Hats off," laments Android Geek reader Vibhu Pandey.

"If one of the vulnerabilities doesn't work, evasi0n doesn't work," Wang was earlier quoted by Forbes. "We could replace that part with a different vulnerability, but [Apple] will probably fix most if not all of the bugs we've used when 6.1.3 comes out."

In February, the evasi0n jailbreak freed almost 7 million iPhones, iPads, and iPod touch owners after only four days since releasing their jailbreak solution. "Cydia, the application which automatically installs when an iOS device is jailbroken is currently used by 23 million users each month," according to a GNT report.

Before encountering the iOS 6.1.3 challenge, evad3rs were able to jailbreak iOS 6.1.2. Incidentally, the latest update drew the highest ever downloads. This update addressed a bug in the Exchange Calendar, which is causing faster battery drain due to increased activity over a wireless network.
