iOS 7 Jailbreak Updates: iOS 6.1.3 Jailbreak First & Hoodies from Team Evad3rs Before ‘The Real Thing’ is Released
Team Evad3rs would likely dangle first some sweatshirt goodies before finally pushing out its official iOS 7 jailbreak that would liberate millions of iPhones and iPads out there, reports said.
The same goes for the equally-awaited iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak, which according to its supposed maker, iH8Snow, should be out before 2013 ends.
The famed Team Evad3rs has been very silent on its jailbreak project, Gotta Be Mobile, said on its report, scantly providing updates on its progress so far.
Stopping short of offering solid explanation for the unusual prolonged waiting time, jailbreak watchers are forced to assume that the group is likely waiting for Apple to first deploy the patches required to correct known issues plaguing the new iOS 7 platform.
The team appears to be playing safe at the moment, not wanting to rush a premature release only to scamper in firing off the corrections in case Apple plugs the iOS 7 vulnerabilities that Team Evad3rs is trying to exploit.
In that case, iOS 7 jailbreak will not be a reality until the tech giant has released iOS 7.1, GBM said.
Team Evad3rs, however, is silent on the matter with one of the key members, Nikias Bassen, hinting only via Twitter that "we (@evad3rs) are still working on the iOS7 JB. Just be patient." The tweet was posted Nov 8.
Yet for those whose patience are running thin, the team offers some distractions before they can finally unlock their iOS toys - hoodies exclusively from Team Evad3rs.
"We're thinking about making @evad3rs hoodies. Any interest in buying one?" Mr Bassen asked.
The question was posed Oct 30, GBM said, and it remains unclear if the plan would push through. If indeed it will, the tone suggests its availability will happen right before the iOS 7 jailbreak is finalised.
Setting that aside, iOS users lucky enough to skip the iOS 7 and dodge the problems stuffed with it can look forward to get a taste of the iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak, that is according to a Twitter post by iH8Snow on Nov 11.
The team intimated that its current work now clocks two months and a release can definitely be expected before 2013 draws to a close.
When exactly, iH8Snow refuses to reveal. GBM noted, however, on its reports that other jail-breakers are working on similar undertakings and it would be hardly surprising that teams like winocm could with their versions of iOS 6.1.3 or even iOS 6.1.4 jailbreak.
And the iOS 7 jailbreak waiting game continues, which likely will only reach its peak once Apple moves from iOS 7.0.3 to iOS 7.1.
