Even though the iPhone camera is one of the most frequently used cameras in the world, not everyone knows how to take the maximum advantage of it. There are plenty of fresh features added to iOS 7. There is a new iPhoto version which is free of cost for every iPad and iPhone. Pocket-lint gives off some great tricks to try on them for getting the most out of them.

Split Sections

The photos you take are going to be split in three separate sections: Photos, Albums and Shared. While the Photos section shows the moments, Albums section shows specific kind of pictures such as Photo Stream, Camera Roll, Video, Panoramas and other folders which you create. Shared folder streams pictures through iCloud so that your friends can enjoy the moments you have enjoyed.

Location of your photo

Moments page shows the location where your photos have been taken. You will also be able to check a map which will show you your location when you took the photos. Moments can be found in Photos tap.

Sharing photos

Sharing special moment has never been easier than this. There is a Share button which comes at the top of the collection of your photos. When you press Share, you will get a couple of options to choose from. The options include "Share some photos" and Share this moment". Here you can choose if you want to share some of the photos or the entire collection. You can instantly share your photos on iCloud, Flickr, Facebook, Mail and Message.

Finding a historical photo

You can search for a specific photo from thousands others that you took over one year. For searching for a particular image, you can long-press your finger on the screen. Then you can run your finger over the pictures. This is just like scanning a specific video on YouTube. The thumbnails will quickly guide you through the process of choosing a historical photo.
