iOS Games of the Week: X-Men: Battle of the Atom, Sly Cooper Bentley’s Hackpack, NBA Rush, RHYTHM THIEF & the Paris Caper
The iOS App Store is currently teeming with a number of new apps, particularly in the gaming department.
If you're in the mood for some nostalgic X-Men action, Sly Cooper adventures, a little bit of Space Jam-like basketball-and-aliens game and a rhythm game to test your timing and skills, these four iOS games may be the right pick for you.
X-Men: Battle of the Atom
In celebration of the 50th year of the X-Men, Aeria Mobile and Marvel Entertainment have released X-Men: Battle of the Atom. For this game, you can play as any of your favorite characters--Wolverine, Storm, Beast, Kitty Pryde and more--while going through single-player missions.
There are 45 character-driven missions, events that take inspiration from X-Men stories and even original art and stories from Marvel artists. There's also the promised 20 vs. 20 real-time battles in multiplayer against the big bosses of the X-Men universe.
This card-battle game is free-to-play, but checking its iTunes page will reveal that there is a special currency to buy in-game items will require payment. Check out the game here.

Bentley's Hackpack
Sony's next-gen gaming console PS4 may not be the only focal point for the company's outlook in games, as it recently released Bentley's Hackpack on the iOS App Store following the release of the mini-games from Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time.
According to Game Informer, the iOS game will put Sly's sidekick Bentley in the spotlight as well as three mini games in the iOS port.
These include Spark Runner, System Cracker and Alter Ego, which are all collecting games and side-scroller shooters worth checking out. You can download the game here.

NBA Rush
Space Jam isn't the only franchise that mixes basketball with aliens, as one of the newest games on iTunes also feature the two together
At first glance, NBA Rush seems like your ordinary NBA basketball game. But in reality, it actually features aliens, an endless runner style, and a roster of collectible NBA superstars.
Now available for free on iTunes, NBA Rush will let you create your own roster, have some slam dunking fun and tag-team players to battle against space aliens. Check out a different kind of game on the court here.

RHYTHM THIEF & the Paris Caper
Sega Corporation brings this rhythm-based adventure game to iOS devices that feature the iOS 6 or later OS.
Rhythm Thief & the Paris Caper will put you in a groove as you go through missions and mini games, go through Paris with a beat and recruit accomplices to create a crew. There are over 50 missions, special and time-limited missions, customisable costumes, special events and hidden levels that will be made available after you've gone through the game.
The only downside here is that, aside from being a $9.99 game, it also features in-app purchases so you can access expert difficulty levels, side stories, and new adventures. Check out Rhythm Thief & the Paris Caper here.
