More rumoured features emerged online as iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 release date inches closer.

Last week, alleged photos of the iPad 5 and the iPad Mini 2 leaked online that hinted on the potential design of the tablets. This week, purported photos of parts of the devices hinted more features of the Apple tablets.

KGI Securities analyst, Ming Chi Kuo, who has credible reputation with regard to Apple-related rumors, predicted new iPads will come in the fourth quarter of 2013 in his latest note. Kuo added that the initial production of iPad models will enter full-scale mass production on the said quarter.

According to Kuo's note, the iPad 5 features will include an A7 processor, support for 4G/LTE connection, 5 MP rear shooter and internal storage up to 128 GB. However, Apple has not confirmed the rumours surrounding the iPad 5 release date as well as the iPad 5 features.

However, based on reports circulating online from various sources, below are the five killer features that consumers will most likely see on the October release date of the iPads.

Design - Various leaked images showed that the iPad 5 will have a slimmer bezel and a similar design to the iPad Mini.

Colours - New photos surfaced online hinted that the iPad 5 and the iPad Mini 2 will get new hues like the iPhone 5S. Thus, we can expect black, silver and gold iPads next month.

Processor - It is most probable that the iPad 5 will get an upgrade to a 64-bit A7 chip processor. The upgrade on the processor will optimize the device in terms of performance during gaming. Moreover, the iPhone 5S is packed with M7 chip, which is a motion co-processor that will track the movements of users.

Fingerprint Sensor - One of the newest features of the iPhone 5S is the fingerprint sensor technology embedded on the home button. This feature will add security on Apple devices.

Wireless Technology - Consumers can expect TDD-LTE wireless technology on the new iPads.
