iPad 5 release date may come very soon as new set of alleged iPad cases surfaced online.

A video spotted on YouTube allegedly revealed the final designs of the upcoming iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2.

The cases look like the original. However, the main difference is the Apple logo at the back. In the video, the logo was cut out and a chrome Apple logo was fitted inside like a jigsaw puzzle. The original Apple logo in iPads is carved out.

The iPad 5 case is definitely thinner than its predecessor and has narrower bezels. The design resembles that of iPad Mini and iPad Mini 2. Watch the video below.

Latest reports cited French Web site MacGeneration, which stated that Apple is planning a "special event" on October 15. MacGeneration added that iPad tablets will be unveiled in the launch event. Moreover, other Apple products like iMacs and Mac OS will make an appearance on the event and will soon slip into the market. This is possible as Apple introduced the iPad 4 and iPad Mini in October last year.

This is supported by the statements of the reliable KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo in his latest note. He said that new iPads will come in Q4 2013. Kuo said that the initial production of iPad models will enter full-scale mass production on the said quarter. Kuo has made correct predictions on Apple-related rumours in the past.

He added that the 10-inch iPad 5 will include features such as an A7 processor; support for 4G/LTE connection; 5MP rear shooter and internal storage up to 128GB.

The iPad Mini 2, on the other hand, is speculated to feature a 7.9 inches screen display with a pixel resolution of 2048x1536. Other specs include an A7 processor; 10-hour battery life; FaceTime HD camera; and an iSight camera with 1080 pixels HD video recording.

However, the Cupertino-based company has not confirmed yet the iPad 5 released date along with iPad Mini as well as the devices' specs and features. Thus, consumers will have to wait and see.
