Processor - iPad 5 will include a quad core A7 chip that will allow smoother and faster experience. However, Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 will be powered by the Exynos 5 Octa core processor.

Internal Storage - It is sure that iPad 5 will feature 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage. Galaxy Note 12.2 will offer 64GB storage capacity that can be expanded through microSD slot.

Operating System - iPad 5 will run with iOS 7 that includes a lot new features. Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 will run with the newly-released Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

Both full-sized tablets are set for release on the fourth quarter of this year just in time for the holiday season. However, both companies have not confirmed the concrete release date of their devices.
