iPad Air 2 Preorders, Pricing And Release Date
The iPad Air 2 was officially launched today alongside iPad Mini 3. It is the world's thinnest tablet is packed with 10 amazing new features. Unlike the iPad Air that is available in two colours like space gray and silver, the iPad Air 2 comes in gold colour. It is the first iPad to feature the Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

The iPad Air 2 is available in two storage options of 16 GB and 64 GB. Unlike the original iPad Air, the successor model does not feature 32 GB storage option. As listed on Apple Store, the pricing of the iPad Air 2 is as follows:

iPad Air 2 Preorders
The iPad Air 2 preorders will start on October 17. The first batch of countries where the iPad Air 2 will be available for pre-orders will include the U.S., Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the U.K. In China and Macau, Apple is only making the Wi-Fi models available for pre-orders today.
By the end of this month, the iPad Air 2 will hit other countries like Croatia, Greece, Puerto Rico, Russia, Turkey and UAE. And in the following months, it will launch in other global countries.
As of now, U.S. carriers have not revealed whether they will start taking the iPad Air 2 preorders from tonight. According to GottaBeMobile, Apple says that the iPad Air 2 will be available with AT&T, Sprint and Verizon, but there is no confirmation whether these carriers also start receiving preorders from tomorrow.
iPad Air 2 Release Date
Apple has not revealed the official iPad Air 2 release date. However, GSMArena says that the shipping of the preordered units will begin in the next week.
