iPad Air 3 to have Touch ID and a fingerprint sensor
Apple originally intended to unveil iPad Air 3 tablet in September but that didn’t happen and there are new indications the iPad Air 3 launch is happening soon.
Word is wafting the iPad Air 3 will be finally seen in the stores in March 2016. The device will feature a 9.7-inch display with a resolution of 2334 x 3112 and will come with 401 pixels per inch density. If the buzz is to be believed, a 4K display will be included in iPad Air 3.
MacWorld reported the iPad Air 3 will have a Touch ID and fingerprint sensor. According to grapevine, the iPad Air 3 device will come with A9X processor coupled with a 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM. An 8 MP rear-facing camera along with an iSight and a 2 MP front-facing camera are integrated into the iPad Air3.
The grapevine even suggests iPad Air 3 owners will have the option to choose between different storage capacity for their apps, music and movies. And according to storage capacity, iPad Air variants will be categorized into 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB.
For now, Apple is distributing educational discounts on the iPad Pro worth $20. This will enable the price to drop from $799 to only $770.
A few months ago during the launch of iPad Pro, Apple ignited speculation an iPad Air 3 will never materialize. Recently, however, word is Apple ordered fewer iPad Pros to unveil the iPad Air 3 priced at $610, as reported by Gizmomily.
