iPad Pro Concept Shows Off 12.9-Inch 4K Screen Display And Slimmer Bezels
After giving an inspiring iPhone 6, iPhone Air and iPhone 6C concept images, SET Solution has created a new iPad Pro render.
The new concept image of Apple's upcoming iPad shows off 12.9-inch 4K resolution display and measures 7 mm in thickness. Based on the rumors, the tablet will cross its 10-inch screen size. It also has a slimmer bezel to accommodate the larger screen panel. iPad Pro packs the same aluminum case and has a True Tone flash at the back.
The TouchID fingerprint sensor, first seen on iPhone 5S, will be embedded in iPad Pro's home button. The new device is seen to be a multimedia powerhouse. Other features integrated in the latest render are 64-bit processor, a bigger RAM and the up to 128 GB internal storage. The device would also feature evolved versions of iMovie, iPhoto and Garage Band - all those famous productivity apps.
According to Evercore Partners Analyst Patrick Wang, iPad Pro release will put the MacBook Air to rest. The 12-inch MacBook will be phased out due to the inception of a hybrid device that combines the portability of a tablet and the power of a laptop.
In his note to investors, Wang said iPad Pro will pack the next-generation Apple A8 processor inside and will run with both the latest iOS and Mac OS X operating systems.
Meanwhile, rumors said iPad Pro will pack a screen panel with 4K resolution ditching the usual Retina screen display, which is beneficial to a very large screen. However, there were also reports that Apple is currently testing 2K and 4K displays and suggested the iPad Pro will come in two variants with varying screens. Some reports noted an iPad Pro with 2K display will be launched in May, while the iPad Pro with 4K screen resolution will be in October.
