iPad Pro Leaked Image Surface, Indicates That The 12-inch iPad Will Feature Slim Body And Extra Speakers
Apple is rumoured to be working on a large-sized tablet called the iPad Pro or iPad Plus or iPad Air Plus. The official name of the tablet has not been revealed by Apple. However, more and more rumours on the device are cropping from varied sources. On Sunday, Nowhereelse published a post with a leaked photo of iPad Pro along with expected features.
According to Nowhereelse, a 3D render image of iPad Pro was leaked by a Foxconn employee. The image does not show the entire tablet but it only displays the upper right corner of iPad Pro. Even though it shows only a small portion of the device, NWE claims that the purported iPad Pro will come with a thin metal body. Its general shape and appearance will be quite similar to the existing iPads.
On the basis of the leaked image, NWE also states that the thickness of the device will be around 6.9 to 7.5 mm. Another key feature that can be seen through the picture is the inclusion of four in-built speakers.
Apple has not spoken anything on launching a large-sized version of iPad. However, a lot has been written on the speculated features of the iPad Pro. MacRumours says that the iPad Pro would feature a 12.2-inch display and it also claims the thickness of the device will be 7 mm. The Fuse Joplin post says that the iPad Plus will be running on A8X processor which is said to be 55 percent faster than the A8 CPU that are present inside the iPhone 6 handsets. It is also expected to come with 2 GB of RAM. The iPad Pro may arrive with an updated version of iOS.
Apple was speculated to launch the iPad Pro in the previous year. However, it only launched the new iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 3 in 2014. In this year, Apple is also expected to roll out a 4-inch version of iPhone 6 and the Apple Watch. Also, Microsoft is rumoured to be constructing the Surface Pro 4 to take on the iPad Pro. Here is a link that compares the alleged specs of Surface Pro 4 and iPad Pro with each other.
