iPad Pro To Put MacBook Air To Rest?
iPad Pro rumor has claimed that it will put the MacBook Air line to rest.
MacBook Air is one of the popular devices from Apple. The device has a screen size of 12 inches. However, a 13-inch tablet is claimed to replace the line, especially in the ultraportable category. According to rumors, the upcoming iPad Pro will come with a detachable flip keyboard that can transform the device into a light laptop.
iPad Pro is expected to pack a 12.9-inch screen display, which will be the first in the market if rumors were true. The rumor was further fueled by a report from Digitimes, Quanta Computer who is Apple's supplier and manufacturer is working on a 12.9-inch and 13.3-inch panels. Along with the increased screen, the tablet will most likely boost its resolution.
Knowing Apple, no matter how odd a 13-inch tablet sound, it can make a device hip and is surely something to look forward to this year. Reports suggested iPad Pro will ditch the usual Retina display and will pack a 4K resolution panel. This means that the device will boast over 4000 pixels, which is a must for a huge screen size.
However, a conflicting report from PadNews said Apple is currently testing 2K and 4K displays for the next generation of iPad. Rumors arise that the tablet may come in two variants.
There are two supposed iPad Pro release date, which is in May and October. Some reports noted an iPad Pro with 2K resolution is on its way in May while the iPad Pro with 4K screen display will be released in October.
iPad Pro is speculated to be part of Apple's "Big Plans" for 2014. Apple's Chief Exec Tim Cook has written a letter to employees saying the new plans are something that "customers are going to love." However, Apple has not confirmed any of these rumors and all of these must be taken as a grain of salt. These speculations are bound to change as iPad Pro release date draws near.
