iPad Top User Complaints
March is rolling in fast, and the rumors on a new iPad 5 and potential second-generation iPad mini are resurfacing since first wind of the news last year. The current iPad has a measurement of 9.50 x 7.31 x 0.37 inches, with three models and five generations currently in the market, reports Daily Mail.
Due to the limited clarifications on the possible specs of the newest model, those who have the old version of the iPad on their hands right now may be wondering if it's about time to upgrade to the higher version, given the current problems that users experience. Or if there is still a way to make use of their iPads until the next newer model after the fifth generation comes up.
Connection to wi-fi
Almost all of the models of iPad has seen problems with wi-fi connections, whether it's a faulty connection or the wi-fi is clearly not syncing with your device.
Because of this, Apple has released a bug fix update for iPad and iOS 6.0.2 phones, reports MobileSyrup. For the most part, the bug aims to fix the most common problem in iPads, as evidence in 2.4GHz and 5Ghz network models.
Dropped cellular connection
Digital Trends reports that another complaint of users is related to dropped connections related to cellular data.
If it is related to your iPad, check the status in Settings and check Cellular just to make sure that it is on. Restart the device if you have changed any settings or just try to restart the device for safety measures.
Another way to try fixing the connection is to reset the network settings. If nothing fixes the problem, you can either try a full restoration process or contact network and carrier support for further instructions, according to Digital Trends,
Unstable apps
Updating your iOS app may result in sudden crashes, reports NBC News. Most of the time, this happens to well-known apps, and the crash happens almost instantaneously upon launching.
In fact, as many as 50 apps have this issue. NBC News reports that the best way to go about this is to wait for more stable versions of the app, before deleting and reinstalling the app that you want.
Slow running iPad
iPads can also be bogged down after a few hours of operation, and users can find this to be a big hindrance in productivity, reports IpadAbout.
The most common explanation for this is that there are several applications that are up and running, causing unnecessary memory consumption in your device. Sometimes, it's good to clear out some of the apps that you don't really use. These may take away vital precious space, which can make your iPad run even slower.
