Apple iPhone 5 users are now offered with a recently announced accessory that can provide more battery life to the smart phone. Mophie assured that the latest battery accessory called "Juice Pack Air" for the iPhone 5 can add up 100% more battery life for a price of $99.95.

The Juice Pack Air weighs 2.68 ounces and has the 1700 mAh battery inserted in the standard iPhone 5 case that can add up to 8 hours of talk time. The device offers as well extended LTE internet usage, 10 hours of Wi-Fi experience, 40 hours of iPhone 5 audio playback and 10 hours of video playback.

The additional battery that can be found inside of the Juice Pack Air makes the Apple iPhone 5 battery case more bulky. The battery accessory is 2.60-inches wide, 5.54-inches tall, 0.60-inches thick and has an outlet that can allow microUSB Juice Pack Air and iPhone 5 charging simultaneously.

Mophie previously released a similar accessory called the Juice Pack Helium that costs $80. The battery accessory adds up 1,500 mAh battery life to the iPhone 5 which is approximately 6 hours of talk time, 30 hours of audio playback and 7 hours of video playback.

With the Juice Pack Air, Mophie declared that the accessory works for an approximately 500 full charging cycles where the empty or drained device is charged up to 100%. The capacity of the battery accessory could be lessened to 75% after the 500 full charging cycles.

Consumers can choose from the three Juice Pack Air battery accessory colors available for the iPhone 5 such as black, white and red. The black Juice Pack Air will ship in 7 to 10 days while the red and white colors will be available on March 22. A pre-order purchase can be done for Mophie's latest battery accessory.
