iPhone 5C, Sony Xperia Z1 and LG G2: Get These Case Covers for Your Phone [VIDEO]
Got your next smartphone of choice? Then the next order of business would be to start finding new accessories, be it for protection or for stylish decoration. If you are looking at the iPhone 5S, the Sony Xperia Z1, or the LG G2, here are some great case covers to look into.
Starting off with the new cases that have also been showcased at the IFA 2013, the Sony Xperia Z1 will be rolling out with some colourful cases. According to Phones Review, the cases are from the same accessory creator Krusell who is responsible for the colourful Apple cases seen below.
According to the report, the Krusell-made covers show off the device in a stylish manner, while Hacoa has also created a wooden case for the Xperia Z1.
LG G2: Its Own Take on the Samsung Flip Covers
Samsung was known to have the S-View cover, which allows you protection for your screen without taking away the quick access to notifications and alerts. The flip covers are also more than just for viewing, as you can answer or reject calls without having to flip the case open.
Since it is a pretty convenient accessory, it's not a wonder that the idea will be adopted somewhere else and that somewhere else lies with the LG G2. Dubbed as the QuickWindow, LG's newest smartphone can now be protected.
You can easily access the phone display. It also allows you to see incoming calls, access the media playback and see the time at a glance, according to PocketNow.
Perhaps the biggest difference with the Samsung flip cover is that its customisation features are more detailed and expansive than Samsung's. LG allows you to change your status screens and clocks just by simply swiping at the screen.
The QuickWindow will have a variety of colours for users and will be available once the smartphone is released this year. Check out the accompanying video from PocketNow to see the QuickWindow in action.
iPhone 5C Goes Colour on Colour with New Cases
Apple has finally lifted the veil off its most-awaited lower cost smartphone, the iPhone 5C. And while the flagship iPhone devices have been made of sturdier material such as aluminium, the iPhone 5C will be sporting a plastic body.
Considering that most people use a case for their iPhone 5 despite the sturdy material, you can imagine just how much more the iPhone 5C will need it, given the plastic body. And Apple is ready for this. The company announced a new line of iPhone 5C cases slated to release on Sept. 20 along with the device.
According to Gotta Be Mobile, the cases will be available in six colors: blue, black, yellow, green, orange and grey. Since the iPhone 5C is all about colour, Apple has made sure that you won't cover the entire phone with the case, as it has been designed to have 35 circular holes at the back to show off the original colour of your device.
This means that you can have two colours in one phone! Though for those who don't want to strain their eyes on clashing colours, you can opt to buy the same colour case as your iPhone 5C to keep it simple.
This is very much in contrast to the premium case being offered for the iPhone 5S, which is a line of leather cases available in refined colours brown, blue, red, yellow, beige, and black.
The iPhone 5C cases will be available for $29, while the iPhone 5S leather cases will be available for $39.
