iPhone 5s, iPhone 6: iOS 7 Upcoming Download Release Compared to Android 4.2.2 [Photos]
iOS 7 is soon to be released and changes are expected to deliver new flavour to the user interface and design. Concepts of the upcoming iOS 7 with 'flat' theme have been compared to the colour environment of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
User Interface and Icons
Instead of using the old bold and colour-oriented icons of the previous iOS version, iOS 7 will come with all new flat design, quite similar to the Windows Phone. It looks like the new iPhone 5s carries a magazine-styled interface while retaining the appeal it has before.
Multi-tasking View
Some Galaxy devices running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean can multi-task two applications simultaneously and in rare cases, four kinds using secret tricks with the Galaxy Note 10.1.
Concept design for iOS 7 includes two new ways - four grid window tiles displaying activities and horizontal windows which user can swipe through left or right. Horizontal design for multi-window viewing is very usable within the Safari browser when selecting tabs.
Messaging Pop-ups
Android messaging apps feature popup notifications with choices such as 'reply', 'close', 'delete' or 'read'. iOS 7 concept includes new design for both notification centre and popup. More interactive ways to access the popup message without going to the message thread itself; similar to the notification popup on the lock screen.
Multi-functional Notifications
If Android features toggles, left or right swipe termination and quick settings, iOS 7 should change the notifications centre to add 'tap to tweet' and 'tap to post status' for Tweeter and Facebook respectively. Weather, social media feeds, emails, messages and other syncing activities will make the notification centre more lively and interactive to give users faster and quicker access to daily task. This would be much better compared to the Actionable Notifications provided by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
