Sportswear chain Nike confirmed that iPhone 5S will be released on the September 10 press event.

In the latest product description of Nike, it mentioned iPhone 5S. The Nike E2 Prime Performance training arm band is said to be compatible with the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5S hinting that iPhone 6 will not be the next Apple smartphone that will be unveiled on September 10.

The tech giant Apple sent out invitations to the press event a week in advance with a tagline "This should brighten everyone's day." The invitation also features bright coloured circles in blue, green purple and yellow that was first seen on the iOS 7 launch.

Usually, Apple's invitation provides a hint on what is the main highlight of the launch event. This year, the tagline and multi-coloured circles may refer to the cheaper iPhone that is rumoured to come in various colours.

This is even more confusing and hinted that no full-fledged iPhone will be released next week.

According to rumours, the full-fledged iPhone will feature A7 quad core processor; iOS 7; up to 128GB internal storage and fingerprint sensor in the home button. It is speculated that Apple will increase the screen display but it may not happen since Apple is always hesitant to increase the size of its screen display.

On the other hand, the low cost iPhone may include a 4-inch screen display, dual core processor, 8 MP rear shooter and a plastic casing. The handset is also rumoured to come in various colours.

However, despite sending out the invitations on the press event on September 10, Apple has not disclosed the specs and features as well as the specific device or devices it will release on the said date.
