iPhone 5S Release Date in September as Gold Master Version of iOS 7 Launch That Month
iPhone 5S release date may be in September, as the Gold Master version of the iOS 7 will be released early that month.
According to reports, iOS 7 beta 4 was already available for developers through Apple's developer site. The report added that the company was planning to release two more beta versions of iOS 7 before it will release the Gold Master or the official version of the iOS 7.
If rumours proved to be true, it was more likely that consumers will see an iPhone 5S release date around mid or late September.
This coincided with an analyst's report that the iPhone 5S release date be in late September. According to the latest note of KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the rumoured iPhone 5S was facing production delays and setbacks with the inclusion of various components. Thus, a later launch of the device was expected. The analyst also stated that the iPhone 5 with plastic casing and the iPad 5 will be released earlier than the iPhone 5S.
However, the iOS 7 beta 4 that was currently available for developers should contain more bug fixes, graphics and UI enhancements, and a couple of other updates.
It also hinted that the new iPhones will include a fingerprint sensor, as BiometricKitUI code bundle was found in the latest beta version of iOS 7. Moreover, it included strings on how to use a fingerprint sensor on an iPhone.
The iPhone 5S release date will be soon and the device was expected to come with A7 quad core chip, Near Field Communication, 13 MP back camera; up to 12 8GB internal storage and longer battery life.
The cheaper iPhone will come with 4-inch screen display, a dual core processor and an 8 MP back camera, all housed in a cheap plastic casing. However, based on Kuo's note, the cheaper iPhone may come with iPhone 5's specs and features.
