Apple suppliers denied reports claiming that the iPhone 5S release date will be delayed due to issues in supply chain.

The suppliers added that the release date may be sometime in September or October.

Various reports stated different reasons for the delay of the much-awaited smartphone. Some reports claimed that Apple was having difficulties integrating fingerprint sensor to the handset, while others claimed that enlarging the screen size was causing the production delay.

Recently, IBTimes AU listed down all of the possible reasons for the delay of the next iPhone.

It was still unconfirmed if the suppliers were referring to the next full-fledged iPhone or the low-cost handset that the company was said to be working on.

Most reports claimed that the next iPhone will most likely arrive either in September or October. However, the latest Apple memo unearthed by Apple-centric website 9to5mac suggested that the iPhone 6 will hold its launching event in November or December.

The rumours claimed that Apple's iPhone 6 will come with a A7 quad core processor paired with iOS 7 operating system, which was packed with new and better features. Apple may also increase the storage capacity of its smartphones up to 128GB. Thus, iPhone 6 will be available in four storage variants: 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB, respectively.

The alleged low-cost iPhone, on the other hand, was rumoured to bear the specs of either iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S and will be available in a variety of colours. Moreover, the low-cost iPhone may feature a cheap plastic casing and not the traditional aluminium casing like that of the previous iPhones.
