iPhone 5S Rumors: Patents Leaked Online Shows Invisible Button and Slider Controls Feature
Thirty-four (34) Apple patents on a new device device features for the iPhone 5S, iPhone 5, aiPad Mini 2 and iTunes recently leaked online, through Patently Apple a web site known for providing information on Apple devices. The upcoming iPhone 5S will reportedly have the invisible button and slider controls feature
According to the Patently Apple report, the invisible button design includes micro perforations or holes that can light up to display where the button is located. The technology giant declared that the backlight will be triggered when the user taps the button or press it down.
"In another embodiment, heat, motion and/or sound sensors (not shown) can interface with and activate LED 95 when heat, motion and/or sound are detected," Patently Apple stated.
The slider control, which is another Apple patented feature, may be invisible as well. The leaked online patent image shows similar technology design with the invisible button that suggests the user will have to slide their finger either up or down on the screen panel.
However, Patently Apple suggests that the controls could be contextual where it could be changed according to the app the users are utilizing. The other patents revealed on the Patently Apple web site are the new iOS interface for iTunes and the magnetometer.
The new iTunes patent leak shows a multi-touch device with "faster, more efficient methods and interfaces for navigating through multiple viewing areas." The new iTunes patent will definitely increase the device's effectiveness, efficiency as well as user experience and satisfaction.

Apple's much anticipated iPhone 5S smart phone is reportedly scheduled for a release on the later part of 2013 while the iPhone 6 release date will be in 2014.
