As rumours of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S release date for September ramp up, more concept videos have been showcased, perhaps as a way for avid Apple users to get their wish list of features out of their systems until the time comes for the big reveal.

For the iPhone 6, the edge-to-edge display seems to be of great interest to many. Recently, there has been a rather comprehensive concept created by artist Johnny Plaid, wherein his version of the iPhone 6 had edge-to-edge Retina 2 display.

iPhoneHacks has reported this concept, which also has multi-touch sensors to replace the home button, a MagSafe-based charger, redesigned microphone mesh for noise cancellation, and a RealD layered display concept.

Another concept, this time created into a concept video for ConceptsiPhone, was by Nikola Cirkovic and Ran Avni, and also features the edge-to-edge display.

In the video, you can see the black and white versions of the device minus the bezels at the sides. There are also new volume and ring or silent buttons, a 5-inch display, a new design, a new capacitive home button, and the thickness, which is pegged to be at 5.3mm.

iPhone 5S goes for colors, thinner bezels, and iOS7

With the iOS 7 fast progressing at its beta stage, with recent news of the beta 5 having just been sent to developers a week after the beta 4's release date, it seems that Apple is really pushing for the iOS 7 to find its way to Apple users--and potentially be installed in the next device to be rolled out.

With this in mind, a new concept video, this time for the iPhone 5S shows off not just the new features of the device, but also an iOS 7 inside.

Developed by Ran Avni, the iPhone 5S in the video sports a 4.8-inch full HD resolution display screen, an IGZO LCD 457 ppi, and Retina Plus Gorilla Glass 3 as some of the newer additions in the features.

Other device specifications listed includes the 2GB of RAM, the iOS 7, a 1.3 GHz quad-core CPU with connectivity including Bluetooth, 4.00 LTE, and NFC. The camera pegged is just 10-megapixels, still under what is counted as the most recent standard of 13-megapixels for smartphones, and up to eight colors to choose from.

The inclusion of a choice in colors for the concept may be banking on previous rumours wherein the iPhone 5S was pegged to have more colors other than its standard black and white version. However, other rumours have already pointed to the iPhone 5C or the low-cost iPhone to be the only version to have a choice in color.

The option of replacing the home button with something that is more capacitive gesture-based was also brought up in the previous concept for the iPhone 6, and it Ran Avni places an emphasis of the gestures such as side swiping, two-finger hold, four-finger hold, and two-finger swiping to be part of the iPhone 5S.

What do you think of the two concept videos and ideas for Apple's planned devices for the year?
