iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S release date may come sooner than later as deals and discounts of iPhone 5 and 4S were now available left and right.

More deals, promos and discounts were being offered to previous iPhones signalling the imminent release of iPhone 6.

The next iPhone was rumoured to feature Retina or IGZO screen display; A7 quad core chip processor; iOS 7; up to 128GB internal storage; Near Field Communication; 13 megapixels rear camera, and longer battery life.

The low cost iPhone 5S, on the other hand, is reported to sport a larger 4-inch screen display, cheap plastic casing, dual core processor and 8-megapixel camera. The smartphone is expected to be come in five to six different colors.

Both Apple smartphones are rumoured to strengthen its security features as it will include a fingerprint sensor technology. This is supported by the report that Apple bought a fingerprint technology firm Authentec last year.

However, the Cupertino-based tech company did not give an official statement on the rumours surrounding iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S.

Below are some of the places where you can buy discounted iPhone 5 and 4S.

Walmart: Walmart was offering the iPhone 5 for $129 and the iPhone 4S for $39. The unlocked version of the device was priced $649.

Best Buy: Best Buy ran a periodic short-term sale offering the iPhone 5 for $149 and iPhone 4S for $49, which was close to Walmart's prices.

Apple Store: Apple was offering a $50 iTunes gift card to students who will buy an iPhone until September 6.

US Carriers: The iPhone 5's price was slashed to just $145.99 upfront on a two-year T-Mobile contract. The iPhone 5 was available for $99 when it first launched in April, but this was raised to $149.99 in May, after the promotional period. AT&T offers 50 percent price cut to all of its smartphones not just the iPhone 5.
