The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus posted double digits on their first weekend sale topping 10 million units. Consumers thinking of purchasing the device can choose from a range of plans depending on their needs. Here is a quick guide on Apple iPhone 6 pricing and setup.

Standard Upgrade and Line Options

People eligible for the standard upgrade can choose to sign a 2-uear contract under AT&T. The 16GB iPhone 6 starts at $199 while the iPhone Plus starts at $299. AT&T offers the plans in support of their AT&T Next plans. Users will basically rent the andset starting from $32.50 to $47.50 monthly on top of the wireless dues.

Users have to pay $2,120 if they want a standard two-year contract from Sprint. They can also pick a $1,850 plan without phone discount. T-Mobile offers a $1,730 plan and Verizon Wireless at $1,640 for a Single Line Smartphone contract. People can contact their preferred network provider for more information. Setting Up iPhone 6/iPhone 6 Plus

Users must back up all of their important information and data if they will be upgrading to an iPhone 6. This can be done either through iTunes or iCloud. The iCloud works for handsets with iOS 5 or later. Follow the on-screen steps to begin configuring the unit.

Wait for the Set Up iPhone prompt to appear. Users have to choose if they are setting up a new handset or restoring through iCloud/iTunes backup. Any of the two restore options can complete the setup so long as the user backed up previously. An iCloud backup does not require users to connect their devices to the computer. It is a different case with iTunes. Some users fail to restore their data when using the iPhone setup. They can either reset the phone to go through the procedure or restore via iTunes or backed up data.
