The iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus were announced on Sept. 9. Both models are going to replace last year's iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. The prices of the new iPhone 6 models have been revealed and, at the same time, the prices of older iPhones have been slashed.

iPhone 6 And iPhone 6 Plus Prices Revealed, Pre-orders Starts On Sept 12

The pre-orders for the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus will start from Sept 12. The 16 GB iPhone 6 will be available with an on-contract price of $199 for the base model. The 64 GB iPhone 6 can be pre-ordered for $299, whereas the 128 GB version can be yours if your pre-order it for $399.

The 16 GB 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus phablet will come out with an on-contract price of $299 for the base model. The 64 GB and 128 GB iPhone 6 Plus can be pre-ordered for $399 and $499, respectively.

As of now, the only carrier that is offering contract-free iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is T-Mobile. With T-Mobile, the off-contract prices of 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB models of iPhone 6 are priced at $649, $749 and $849, respectively. iPhone 5S Available For $99, iPhone 5C Available For Free

As expected, Apple has slashed the price of the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. The 16 GB iPhone 5S was available at an on-contract price of $199. Now, the on-contract price for iPhone 5S has been slashed to $99. The 32 GB iPhone 5S is now available with an on-contract price of $149.

The iPhone 5C that was available at an on-contract price of $99 is now available for free. The offer is only available on the 8 GB model of iPhone 5C. Buyers will be required to sign up for a two-year contract to avail this deal.

Until now, the iPhone 4S was the only iPhone that was available for free. With the arrival of new iPhone 6 variants and the price reduction of the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, Apple has finally decided to phase out the iPhone 4S.
