iPhone 6 Release Date, Bigger iPads Planned in Apple’s 2014 Roadmap
iPhone 6 release date and the launch of bigger iPads are some of the products included in Apple's roadmap for next year.
According to ETnews, Apple is planning to include new screen technology in its products. This supports the rumour that iPhone 6 will feature a larger screen display of six inches being Apple's own version of phablet. Reports indicated that Apple is already testing on screen with the range of 4.8 to 6 inches.
Other rumours claimed that iPhone 6 will pack a 5-inch screen display that will make it at par with other smartphones in the market. This is also supported by analysts' claims.
Various artists imagined the iPhone 6 with such screen size. For instance, new iPhone 6 render was picked up from DeviantArt user iNasko last month with a screen display of 5 inches.
There are also hearsays that a larger iPad is on the works. Consumers may see an iPad with 12 to 13 inches in screen size to be released in 2014. There were reports that this tablet variant is aimed at education and business sectors.
Apple has been trying hard to make a wider reach in both business and education sectors. The iPad 4 with larger storage of 128GB introduced earlier this year is to accommodate users who need more storage space. A larger screen display is also beneficial in both sectors.
The iPhone 6 release date is speculated to happen in the first quarter of next year, most probably in March. Apple recently released iPhones but it sports the same 4-inch screen display.
Some of the iPhone 6 features may include a 5-inch Full HD screen display; 64-bit A7 processor; M7 GPU chip; fingerprint sensor; Near Field Communication; larger internal storage of up to 128GB and iOS7.
However, Apple has not announced any details whether these rumours are true or not.
