It is widely believed the iPhone 6 release date could very well be sometime in 2014. Apple enthusiasts are busy hopping from one rumour mill to another, but the forecasts are generally the same. Meanwhile, another iPhone 6 concept video has come out to tide fans over. Scroll down to see if this kind of refresh could interest you.

In a tip to investors, Jefferies analyst Peter Misek earlier said he believed the iPhone 6 would come out around June 2014. It does reconcile with other rumours that the iPhone 5S will hit the stores first later this year. Further, there will reportedly be around 6 months gap between the 5S and the next Apple iPhone release.

Multimedia designers Ran Avni and Uygar Kaya released their latest iPhone 6 concept video Monday on YouTube. The video is called, "iPhone 6 Concept - Wireless Charging, Water Resistant, Notification LEDs."

Wireless charging has been mentioned frequently in several iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 rumours. So that is pretty much "expected" now. Still, you ought to keep your expectations reasonable. That the next Apple smartphone would be dustproof and waterproof is not a strange idea, too.

HTC and Sony have been boasting of the dust-free and water-safe technology since early this year. The path is already there for these features. Samsung Galaxy S4 Active is also offering the same technology.

As for the notification LEDs, not everyone's a fan. But then again, this is a concept from two designers. In fact, you'll notice Cydia as a stock application in the video. This tells you the designers have a sense of jailbreaking humour. There will be some discussion if a front-facing stereo speaker system figures in the iPhone 5S or iPhone 6, but for now those who hate the idea can relax.

This design also sports a bigger screen display, perhaps in response to some clamour for a phablet concept. But in a recent earnings call, Apple CEO Tim Cook did not want gadget fans to expect a phablet screen - unless some conditions are met.

"Some customers value large screen size, others value other factors such as resolution, colour quality, white balance, brightness, reflectivity, screen longevity, power consumption, portability, compatibility with apps and many things," Cook said, adding, "Our competitors had made some significant trade-offs in many of these areas in order to ship a larger display. We would not ship a larger display iPhone while these trade-offs exist."
