iPhone 6 Release Date Expected in Fall with iOS 9 & Slimline Design
The iPhone 6 release date is expected to happen in the fall with iOS 9 and slimline design.
The iPhone 6 has been a huge subject all over the Internet right now and reports suggest that two model sizes of the iPhone 6 are expected this fall. One with a 4.7 inches display and the other with a 5.5 inches screen.
Numerous iPhone 6 designs were seen and interestingly, they highlight all sorts of possibilities. Now, another iPhone 6 concept was revealed showcasing the iOS 9.
The new concept came from Giorgi Tedoradze, which highlights the 4.7 inches version of the iPhone 6 sporting iOS 9. The image revealed shows an iPhone 6 that weighs 118 grams and checks in at 130.7 mm x 63.2 mm x 6.8 mm with an aluminium body. It features a 1.6 GHz Apple A7 quad-core processor, 4.7 inches display with 1430261 x 840 resolution, 10 MP sensor rear camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), 2 MP sensor front-facing camera and 2450 mAh battery.
As depicted in the image, the power button has been transferred on the right of the handset with the Touch ID fingerprint scanner feature. One of the notable enhancements shown for the iOS 9 is the easy one-handed use, as the screen areas are redistributed to correspond to the needs of the users. This is particularly a good idea for iPhone users who are getting the hang of using larger handsets.
On the other hand, according to supply chain sources, the Cupertino tech giant has ordered 60 million units of the 4.7 inches iPhone 6 and 10 million units of the 5.5 inches model. Once the technique for developing the sapphire screen has been flawlessly mastered, the production of the 5.5 inches iPhone 6 will ramp up.
It must be noted that even the smaller 4.7-inch iPhone 6 version is still bigger than the current Apple flagship smartphone, iPhone 5S, which checks in with 4-inch screen size.
