iPhone 6 release date inches as more deals, discounts and trade in promos surfaced in the US and UK.

iPhone 6 is speculated to arrive on September 10. The device may have a worldwide release on September 20. A proof that this could be true is the various deals and trade-ins that the current iPhone 5 is receiving.

In the US, electronics retailer Best Buy is offering up to $200 for your old iPhone. This offer does not only apply on iPhones but to other smartphones as well. Web site Gazelle will give you up to $300 for your old iPhone 5 in good condition.

US carrier Virgin Mobile is also offering a 20% discount on 16GB version of iPhone 5 with no term contract. The iPhone 5 costs $439.99 with free shipping that is normally priced at $549.99. However, the promo is available only in the US for today until supplies lasts.

In online retailer Amazon, an unlocked version of 16GB iPhone 5 is offered for $686, which is below its normal price of over $750.

In UK, British carriers are offering cheaper plans with different terms for as low as £27 per month.

The full-fledged iPhone 6 is expected to come with new features such as larger screen display; A7 quad core chip paired with 3GB RAM; Near Field Communication; 13MP back camera; up to 128GB internal storage and longer battery life. Reports claimed that a gold iPhone is another colour option that will be available for the taking.

Apple is also expected to release a cheaper iPhone dubbed as iPhone 5C. The cheaper iPhone will come with 4-inch screen display, a dual core processor and an 8MP back camera all housed in a cheap plastic casing. The handset will be available in a wide array of fun colours like the fifth generation of iPod Touch. The cheaper iPhone may also come with iPhone 5's specs and features.

Apple still has to confirm the iPhone 6 release date and its specs and features.
