iPhone 6 Release Date Soon as Leaked Photo Showed Handset’s Dimension
iPhone 6 release date may come really soon as new leaked photo showed the handset's dimensions and possible screen size.
French web site Nowhereelse.fr spotted the alleged photo of iPhone 6 that was circulating in China. Based on the photo, the width of the next generation iPhone will be 85mm (3.35 inches) and the height will be 150mm (5.91 inches). A screen width of approximately 2.7 inches and height of 4.79 inches would result in a diagonal of 5.5 inches.
Rumours claimed that the next iPhone 6 will come in two variants. One with 4.7 inches screen display and another with 5.5 inches screen size. The latter was speculated to be Apple's own take in the phablet's category although the company has not confirmed the existence of the smartphone yet.
This is backed up by the claim of UBS analyst Steve Milunovich that the iPhone will indeed come in two versions. Moreover, both devices have the same screen resolutions, which will make it easier for iOS app developers.
Apple has not disclosed the full specs and features of iPhone 6 yet. However, it was speculated that iPhone 6 will pack A8 processor with 64-bit architecture, sapphire screen display, better camera and fingerprint sensor with improved features and capabilities.
Previous reports claimed that iPhone 6 will arrive in June at the annual Worldwide Developers Conference alongside iOS 8. It is also possible that an iPhone will be released this summer on the aforementioned event and the phablet may be released in September to rival the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
Nikkei Asian Review stated that Apple's next smartphones will be coming in 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch versions. Report said that iPhone 6 will enter full production soon in order to meet the timetable. Apple has released the previous iPhones on the same launch window. Moreover, it is highly possible that the Cupertino-based company will release two iPhones on its release date as it did in the past when it released the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.
