Apple may release its highly anticipated iPhone 6 on Labor Day in the United States.

Some sources say that iPhone 6 release date can come as early as the end of August or Labor Day, which is on September 2. All that Apple has to do is put the iPhone 6 into factory production sooner, to match the ready date for iOS 7.

Thus, iPhone 6 launch cycle can be in the late summer or fall, Apple will send out press invites a week ahead of a media event scheduled for a Tuesday or Wednesday which will see the unveiling of the iPhone 6 along with ancillary products like the new iPod touch. The finalized version of iOS 7 will also be shown off, and release dates will be set for both within days or weeks of the event. Online iPhone 6 preorders will begin, and the retail iPhone 6 release date will be set for a Friday.
