iPhone 6 release date is expected during the annual Worldwide Developers' Conference in June.

Chinese Analyst Sun Changxu told Chinese Web site QQ Tech that she anticipates iPhone 6's production to ramp up in May for the preparation of its launch a month after. The handset will most likely be announced at Apple's WWDC.

iPhone 6 is believed to pack a 4.7-inch, 1,136 x 640 pixel display. The analyst added the heavily rumored iPhone phablet with higher-resolution and 5.7-inch screen display will follow. Below are the five features consumers can expect at the launching event although Apple has not confirmed any of these yet.

Screen Display

iPhone 6 is set to pack a 4.7-inch screen display, which is a major upgrade compared to the previous 4-inch screen panel that iPhone sports for two generations already. Although the size is still behind from its rivals, which are adopting at least 5-inch screen panel, Apple can deliver high quality screens.

A8 Processor

Another feature that will most likely arrive in iPhone 6 is A8 processor. Each year, Apple upgrades its processor to accommodate the new power hogging features that it will incorporate in the device.

iOS 8

Another feature that gets an annual upgrade is iPhone's software. If rumors proved to be true that Apple will launch the next iPhone at the WWDC 2014 event in June, it is most probably that it will come with a new operating system named iOS 8. Also, iOS gets new features and capabilities each year.

Fingerprint Sensor

The TouchID Fingerprint Sensor made its debut in the iPhone 5S. It is most likely that this added security feature will be retained but padded with new features and capabilities. There were also rumors claiming that Apple will pack a futuristic eye scanner. Same goes for Apple's voice assistant Siri.

NFC

Apple has been questioned for quite a long time why it kept on skipping near field communication seen in its rivals. This year, Apple fans may get to see this feature in the upcoming flagship phone of the company.
