Tech giants Apple and Samsung are expected to clash early next year when they both released the alleged iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S5.

Apple is rumoured to release a new iPhone early next year despite the company just recently released the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S. Some reports said that the company will unveil the new smartphone in March and it is Apple's first smartphone-tablet hybrid.

Meanwhile, Samsung is also rumoured to release its own smartphone on the same date just like the Samsung Galaxy S4. The successor of the device is claimed to hit the market between January and March.

With the two powerful smartphones are on their way, consumers may be torn on what handset to choose by next year.

Below is the comparison of some of the rumoured features iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S5 that consumers will most likely see on release date.

Screen Display - Recent reports claimed that iPhone 6 will have a bigger screen display ranging from 4.8 to 6 inches. This is backed up by analysts' claims. They all agreed that bigger screens for various Apple devices are in the works. Prominent businessman Donald Trump demanded that Apple should increase the screen size of the next iPhone.

Processor - Both smartphones are rumoured to pack 64-bit processors. iPhone 6 will most likely pack the same processor as the iPhone 5S. Other reports claimed that the device will feature an A8 processor. A Samsung exec confirmed that the next generation of Samsung smartphones will pack 64-bit processors.

Operating System - iPhone 6 will run with the latest iOS 7 that packs new and improved features. Samsung Galaxy S5, on the other hand, is rumoured to pack Android 4.4 KitKat that is expected to be released this month and will bring great features.

Internal Storage - The iPhone 6 is expected to include a larger internal storage of up to 128GB. Samsung Galaxy S5 will surely be available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants with external storage of up to 64GB via microSD slot just like its predecessors.

Camera - iPhone 6 is rumoured to have a better camera. However, it is still unclear whether Apple will increase the megapixels of the alleged phablet. There are two rumours surrounding the camera feature of the Samsung Galaxy S5. One is that Galaxy S5 will pack a 20.7 megapixel camera. Other reports claimed that the South Korean tech company will not increase the megapixels of the camera but improve the camera lens of the devices to bring forth clearer photos.

Battery - Both devices promises longer battery life since both are rumoured to have high end and amazing specs.

Both tech companies have not confirmed any of these rumours as well as the release dates of the devices.
