As Apple gradually transforms into a luxury brand, the likelihood of the next iPhone reflecting the new image appears to become a reality in time for the iPhone 6S release date this 2015. That is what a new device is proposing.

Long-time iPhone render creator Martin Hajek offers his vision of the upcoming iPhone – the build of which is not too different from the iPhone 6 last year except that the sequel is covered in gold (images are viewable here). Hajek is clear that the gold casing for the next iPhone is not plated with the precious material, he wants real gold to house the device.

To go with the pricey Apple Watch Edition

The concept author proposed: “How about a nice new rose gold iPhone 6s to match your new Apple Watch?” Indeed, the gold-bathed 6S is a perfect match, as suggested by the Hajek image renditions, with the Apple Watch Edition that reportedly will retail starting at $10,000 later this year.

Sitting side by side, the two devices exude elegance and simplicity, all the more accentuated by the opulent material making up the shells. But the questions: Is there a way this render will become a reality?

A gold iPhone actually is nothing new, according to BGR, so the iPhone 6S on the same expensive frame is not impossible at all. Mostly likely such variant will not officially come from Apple. Instead, a third-party player from China will do all the work and rollout a solid gold iPhone 6S.

The effort, as expected, will translate to higher sticker price that can only be imagined at this point. Now if Apple is bold enough to ask $10,000 for the gold Apple Watch Edition, its 6S counterpart will surely demand sky-high figures that surely will be out of reach of the average consumers.

Rumoured iPhone 6S killer features

Now with the gold casing or the regular build, the next iPhone is said to be a slight jump from last year’s version. Headlining the new features are the A9 chip that is mightier, faster and more energy efficient than the A8 CPU that powers the iPhone 6.

Speculations are rife too that Apple is adopting the System in Package or SiP module for the inner components of the next iPhone to be installed in a single stack. In doing so, engineers will free up considerable room that in turn could accommodate a slimmer build and a bigger battery pack.

Lastly, the iPhone 6S on release date will also debut a new mobile platform – the iOS 9 that will bump off the iOS 8. The actual device touchdown is predicted to happen between September and October 2015.
