Jason Biggs Cracks Jokes after Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 Shot-Down Killing 295
Jason Biggs does it again. After cracking "insensitive" jokes about missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370, the "American Pie" star now jokes about the death of 295 people who have got killed in a plane crash in Ukraine.
It was another Malaysian Airlines flight which faced unhoped-for consequences. According to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, the plane was shot down by pro-Russian rebels near Grabovo village in Ukraine. There were 15 crew and 280 passengers who were killed in the shot-down. While the incident has further increased political tension between Russia and the West, Biggs apparently found the entire incident amusing.
"Anyone wanna buy my Malaysian Airlines frequent flier miles?" Biggs tweeted after the Amsterdam-Kuala Lumpur flight had been shot down. Not every Twitter user found Biggs' tweet humorous. One user said, "Too soon, man. Too soon." while another wrote that his tweet was "uncool." "Was your sense of humor on that flight?" one user asked. Another user wrote that Biggs' tweet would "come back and bite" him "in the a**." One of the users demanded that Biggs should "apologize to the victims' families."

Biggs was apparently forced by the harsh criticism to eat humble pie and change his tone. "In all seriousness, tho- HOW DO YOU MISTAKENLY SHOOT DOWN A COMMERCIAL PLANE?! Ugh." he tweeted next. Still, it might not have been enough for him to hide the embarrassment as some users apparently caught him red-handed to "undo" his earlier approach to the situation. "Is this your "whoops I shouldn't have tweeted that" tweet? Man you suck," the user wrote. Biggs stretched himself even further and expressed his concern for the victims. "It's saddest for the victims and their families, obviously. But Malaysia Airlines is apparently a GREAT airline. Gonna be tough to recover," he wrote.

Biggs, on the other hand, hit back at the criticism in his next posts. "Hey all you "too soon" a**holes- it's a f**king joke. You don't have to think it's funny, or even be on my twitter page at all," he tweeted. He was also apparently miffed with the gossip Web site TMZ which posted his photo along with the crashed plane. "Well done on posting my face next to the wreckage of the plane- you might almost think I actually shot it down!" he wrote.
