Following the Category 5 Hurricane-equivalent backlash that Canadian Jax Cote got when she posted a racist remark at the height of super typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda), the teacher from Vancouver, British Columbia, appeared to have followed the footstep of another controversial racist, Devina Dediva from Singapore.

After the whole Philippines got mad at the teaching assistant for belittling the Miss World 2013 victory of Miss Philippines Megan Young, Dediva eventually said sorry to Filipinos.

Jax Cote Watch: Like Devina Dediva, Canadian Teacher Who Posted Racist Comments About Philippines Closes Facebook Account; Will She Also Lose Her Job?

Jax now had followed Dediva's example in apologising by posting the following status update in Facebook:

However, there are doubts if she really was sincere in her apology, or if she was the one who made the apology since the update was posted in the 2nd alleged Jax Cote FB account created to defend the original Jax Cote, whose FB account has a photo.

Also, details about the Jax Cote on the 2nd account are different from the original account where she state that she works as a teacher at a private elementary teacher and she studied at Trent University.

The 2nd Jax Cote account lists her occupation as an Avon Independent Sales Representative from 2010 to the present and studied at Humber College Lakeshore Campus.

Could she be a totally different person or the same person, but like some FB members, place fake entries in their personal details which are not verified by the largest social media site?

The disparity alone is enough to doubt the authenticity and the sincerity of the alleged apology.

Or is it possible she had already lost her job that quickly as a backlash of her racist comment?

Actually, two people tweeted about Jax's apology. One is Filipino singer Jim Paredes. When you click link that he provided, it opens to the 2nd Jax Cote alleged account.

The other person who tweeted about Jax's apology is a fellow named Jose Olarte III with the Twitter handle @brownspank, but when you click the link he provided, it opens to this message:

Which could possibly mean the apology was erased or it was posted on the original Jax Cote FB account and is accessible only to those who are FB friends of the Canadian teacher.

Anyway, the mystery only deepens as to who is the real Jax Cote?
