The Jennifer Lawrence 2011 Flare magazine cover recently surfaced revealing the alteration done on "The Hunger Games" actress. Internet users slammed the magazine via Twitter for using the power of photoshop to make JLaw's figure thinner.

According to the 9News Entertainment report, Flare magazine's cover photo showed the 23-year-old award-winning actress looking slim with her collarbones emphasized, neck lengthened for a flawless silhouette and hips, waist as well as face shrunken to achieve the thin look. In an interview with Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer last Nov, Jennifer Lawrence talked about the issues on body image with the media. "The world has this idea that you should look like an airbrushed perfect model. You have to see past it. You look how you look, you have to be comfortable. What are you going to do? Be hungry every single day to make other people happy? That's just dumb," Ms Lawrence stated.

The young actress further added that she would want to look a little chubby on camera and like a person in real life rather than look great on-screen but look like a scarecrow in person. Jennifer Lawrence even stated that calling someone fat should be illegal during an interview with Barbara Walters in the upcoming ABC News special titled "Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013."

Since Jennifer Lawrence catapulted to stardom, thanks to her "Hunger Games" character Katniss Everdeen, the actress has been receiving criticisms for her full figure making her furious over the issue. "I get it, and, and I do it too, we all do it. But the media needs to take responsibility for the effect that it has on our younger generation, on these girls who are watching these television shows, and picking up how to talk and how to be cool," Ms Lawrence stated.

She further added: "I mean, if we're regulating cigarettes and sex and cuss words, because of the effect they have on our younger generation, why aren't we regulating things like calling people fat?" As for JLaw's photoshopped images, the actress has not given any comment yet on her 2011 Flare magazine cover amidst the Internet controversy.
